The rooms trendy and tasteful with binoculars for wildlife viewing, a beautiful sunset and fireplace. Fast check-in, welcoming employees. Delicious food and exceptional service. Easy parking onsite. Great and stunning location next to the beach.

Staff always excellent.
Overall wonderful stay for one night and another last minute trip. Traditional hotel in a safe area right by the boardwalk that runs along the cliff above the beach and downtown and a local bakery. Updated rooms with large beds, great value.

I enjoyed the rooftop deck with a great view of the waves. It was nice to relax there with a drink. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
The only window in my room faced the parking lot, and I found the overall layout lacking in comfort. The room size felt restrictive, and amenities were minimal.

The location is wonderful--right across from Moonstone Beach, one of the first motels you come to as you cross the road from Cambria. Although the rooms have no view, they have a sitting area that overlooks the beach, so anyone can sit and watch the sunset. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed to be pretty clean.
It is such a bare bones room with no desk or chair and no available plugs to even plug in a computer without unplugging the TV or little refrigerator.

7:30am coffee is too late. No refer in room. Did not like that the only table in our room was covered with stuff for sale, had to move all of it to the floor in order to make space for our things. Only 1 bar of soap for both sink and shower. Breakfast was poor, not much to choose from.

A Cozy Getaway with Fine Views
My family enjoyed a lovely night surrounded by beautiful decor and warm amenities. The cozy fireplace in our room created a perfect evening atmosphere. Take a stroll on the beach for amazing ocean views. Just be prepared for a smaller breakfast area.

I loved the pillows. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. It's literally right across the street from beach access. The price is the lowest on Moonstone Beach Dr.
The TV stopped working after 1/2 hour after turning it on, not that there was anything to watch. Bring your own portable DVD player if you need entertainment in the evening. There's just nothing to do in Cambria after the sun goes down, except eat. The decor needs to be updated and a waffle maker at the breakfast area would make up for a lot. The door made a loud noise when it was opened and I'm sure my neighbors didn't appreciate it when I had to take my dog out at 5 am.

The barrel in the room is totally impractical; there should be a table instead.

The location and they accept dogs
The room was very basic, hardly any TV channels. About the worst breakfast we've had.

An lovely stay!
What a lovely spot! We were greeted by super friendly staff who made our anniversary extra special. The room was clean and cozy, perfect for our quick getaway. We loved biking around and catching sunsets at the beach. Only wished there was more seating at breakfast since it got a bit crowded. Definitely gonna recommend this place!
